Why We Love Our Moms
As part of a Mother's Day project last year, a group of second-graders were asked to come up with some reasons why moms are so special. Enjoy!
"Moms use spit to clean off chocolate off your face so the pastor at church won't get mad at you."
~ Blake Dyson, age 6
"A mommy is the same as a dad except softer."
~ Brian McFarland, age 6
"My mom is special because she looks even prettier with no make-up on."
~ Laura Orlando, age 6
"My mom is nice because she only stays mad at my dad for about two and a half days, and then everything is okay."
~ Michaela Ruiz, age 7
"Moms are special because I got lost in the store and she found me."
~ Bryan Vosburg, age 6
"Moms make everything smell good."
~ Brittany Carlson, age 6
