Earthquakes

Southern California Earthquake Center

An excellent place to get information on recent earthquakes in California. The Index Map of Recent Earthquakes in California provides up to the minute information. When the 7.1 earthquake hit Southern California in 1999, called the Hector Mine Mainshock, I check the index map and knew within three minutes where the quake hit and its magnitude.
